Steward's Holiday Message
Looking Back – Looking Forward
By Paul Clark
My Fraters and Sorors,

With the celebration of Samhain (Halloween) and the weather starting to turn colder, we are reminded that the end of this year is approaching. Soon, Christmas Trees and Chanukah Lights will be seen everywhere. As we reflect back upon this past year we have many accomplishments that each member of the Fraternity can be proud of.  Preparations have been taken for the consecration of many new lodges, around the world. Two new Probationary courses were completed (Elements of Ceremonial and The Pattern of Perfection) for study by mail. Many significant tasks were completed in the inner work.  In addition to this we will have a new book published by Thoth Publications entitled: "By Signs and Symbols: Initiation in the Western Mystery  Tradition," that I hope everyone will enjoy. On top of all this, preparations are going forward for the 25th Anniversary International Conclave in October, 2007, to be held in Los Angeles, California, USA, where all members are invited to gather together for a weekend of Fraternal activities and celebrations.

Yes, we can all be proud, because of your efforts the fraternity is emerging as a force for good and for the advancement of the light. The work is now ever morewidely available to train sincere aspirants in the ancient system of the Lesser and Greater Mysteries of Initiation.

But, we should not and cannot rest on our past accomplishments. The Third Order has further tasks for us in the year to come. 2007, will be a very important year for the establishment of "the reign of harmony and the empire of light."

A friend of mine, when questioned about how they could contribute to the work of the Hierarchy of Light answered: We all can contribute the "Three "T's": our Time; our Talent; and, our Treasure. That is very true. Only you know how much time you have available to forward the cause of the Light. Only you know where you talents lie, unless you step forward to volunteer for service. We all must "chop wood and carry water.

As this year draws to a close I would like you to consider donating some of your "Treasure." Remember your Fraternity when you are thinking about your charitable donations. Remember, gifts to The Fraternity of the Hidden Light are completely tax deductible under IRS code 501.3c. Do consult your tax adviser. You may send your contributions to: The Fraternity of the Hidden Light.

In the meantime, may you rest beneath the Shadow of His Wings whose name is Peace.

"Sub Umbra Alarum Tuarum ...I:. H:. V:. H:.

Fraternally, In LVX, The Steward
